Watercolour on 300gsm Stonehenge watercolour paper

These two love-birds were seated overlooking my balconey and were a fantastic reference with the interesting colours reflected off their feathers. I also loved how the underlying yellow in their feathers was affected by the sunlight on them, diffusing through and creating an interesting warmth to what is normally a very cold white.

Cockatoos are fascinating, so smart and social but also so destructive at times. A tiny bit like humans.
