Immersed is a series of small paintings that explore the experience of being immersed, in water, a feeling or an environment. This series of paintings were mostly created with many layers of fast flow acrylic and ink drawing. All the works contain some elements of stories, dreams or myths.

Fast flowing acrylic is a fairly new medium. I first pour on the initial chaotic layer and then define the emerging shapes with brushwork. The depth is created through the addition of clear layers of acrylic pouring medium. I let the initial layer tell me what story it wants to be and the image gradually evolves.
