This particular version of the Kookaburra is hanging in the Ku-ring-gai council chambers.
A portrait of the local Kookaburra who loves to visit our backyard when we are having a BBQ. With only one leg he waits patiently for morsels of meat before flying off to the next yard. Nicknamed King Legolas (Legless), he is very gentle for a Kookaburra. I did three versions of him, all of which are in private collections.
An original drawing can be commissioned or limited prints are available. A waiting time of between 4 to 10 weeks can be expected as the ink drawings are very time intensive.
This particular "King" version is available as a limited edition Glicee print (unframed) on archival quality paper.
