Spike the Waterdragon

Spike is a Waterdragon that lives in my backyard. I love his regal attitude. This particular pose was taken from a photo my brother Eric Smith took of him whilst bribing him with grapes. He tolerates humans if they feed him but otherwise will run and hide if startled.

His scales were fascinating to draw. I did not realise how many different shapes they formed until I drew him.
