Topaz was a joy to do. His burning eyes were fun, but his fur was a challenge as it was quite a unique grey that was not as obvious in the main photo I was working from. He took a bit longer than normal to do due to the colour changes I did in the fur. This resulted in lovely lush thick fur with tiny variations in colour that I really enjoyed.

He was painted using a very fine brush for the fur. Schmincke paint on rough ArtSpectrum Watercolour paper 300gsm, A4 size.
