Winner of the Ku-ring-gai Council Award at the KAS Award Art Exhibition 2019.
A portrait of the local Kookaburra who loves to visit our backyard when we are having a BBQ. With only one leg he waits patiently for morsels of meat before flying off to the next yard. Nicknamed King Legolas (Legless), he is very gentle for a Kookaburra. I did three versions of him, all of which are in private collections.
An original drawing can be commissioned for approximately $980 depending on my workload. A waiting time of between 4 to 10 weeks can be expected as the ink drawings are very time intensive. Each version of "King" used between 18 to 22 black pens.
12 prints are available in 3 different sizes for King V2, please see that page for more details or contact me.
